'Shangri-Ladida' was a 2011 graduate collection by London College of Fashion graduate designer;
Nova Chiu. The collection was awarded  Collection of the Year by LCF. This award propelled
Nova Chiu to the Emerging Designer category in the London fashion scene.
My involvement in this collection was just on a sewing basis. I helped sew together some of the
6 garments and hats. The basis for this whole collection was conceived by Nova Chiu, which
was an introduction to the attire Chinese Ethic Groups wore and have worn for centuries.
Up until this point, they had been relatively unknown to the Western world.
